TeraBridges has expanded its advisors list with our latest Industry Professional visit with PSA Systems. FIRST Tech Challenge teams expand their network through outreach, and making connections with professionals in the technology industry is a major way to do such. As TeraBridges’ 4th industry professional connection, PSA Systems has given us valuable input on our robot and will continue to help us in our journey!
PSA systems is an OEM that manufactures custom machines and machine systems for large companies. Their robotics, materials, and software expertise is very handy in an environment like FIRST Tech Challenge.
TeraBridges discussed its robot design with PSA and they gave us suggestions for our intake, including ideas for an intake redesign as well as some advice to improve the structure of the robot and minimize wasted space. We then took a tour of their facilities to learn more about OEM careers, which was very interlinked to the robotics world.
We hope to connect with them even further in the future, and we plan to send them our CAD models for our intake redesign ideas.
